There seems like there is a slight sparkle in the Irideon Equestrian Quilted Vest. 80g polyfill in the body and 60 grams of poly fill in the body will keep you warm without the mass. Equestrian touches incorporate in it include a weaved patch on the vest back, and a stirrup zipper pull.
I’m a sucker for details like that.
A zipper garage gives a finished look and shields the chin from a chilly zipper. This vest is elegant with its rich jewel tones – it almost makes you feel like a princess when you’re riding.
Definitely nice when practicing dressage work but the warmth makes it practical for all riding styles just because it will really keep you warm!
Perks of Owning an Irideon Vest
The texture is water-resistant and breathable. A metallic silver horseshoe decorated on the vests back gives the vest an equestrian flare.
The signature Irideon stirrup zipper pulls also really adds to the personality of the jacket.
Something I really like are the concealed zip pockets and a few inside pockets allowing you a lot of spots to keep things while you ride. There is also a cord circle for head phones which is nice if your riding and you haven’t yet caught up with all the wireless trends going around (personally I dislike the new apple earbuds).
Perfect for Winter – Without the Bulk
As I mentioned, the external shell is made of 80 polyester and 20 polyurethane. The covering and fill are made of 100 polyester.
This jacket is standard quilted riding vest with more fiberfill than most vests.
It’s sufficiently warm for fall and winter months but not as massive as many winter vests, which will give you the most versatility
If you read my post about what to wear horseback riding in the winter, then you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of layering. I find that vests are a great top layer when it’s really chilly outside. This is because they keep your arms free and bulk-free so that you can tack, untack, groom and do all your daily barn tasks without a puffy coat getting int the way.
Also, it leaves you free to sweat a little bit without trapping the moisture in. However, as you should know, once you start sweating that’s when you should be taking the layers off so that you don’t trap the moisture in. Then when you cool down, you can re-layer right back up.
Class and Comfort Combined
Often when you buy really nice looking clothes for riding you’re sacrificing something. It may be mobility for a nice riding jacket, it may be warmth for a sleek appearance.
With this, you give up nothing. It’s expensive because it works and it’s practical. The fact that it looks awesome is a plus 🙂
You won’t have to give up warmth for a refined look when you put on the Irideon Equestrian on.
Stretch side boards, a curved hem and three snap backtrack vents with gussets enable freedom of movement while keeping a tailored, standard look.
Keep your fundamentals handy with front zip pockets. A laurel wreath embellished patch on the back finishes the tasteful look.
I would love to hear what you guys have to say, how you guys like the vest if you decide to buy it and generally any other questions you have so please don’t hesitate to comment below!
Happy riding 🙂
